what we're about
until now, first and foremost we were a design consultancy offering our design services to local as well as international companies.

so why are we starting our own fashion brand?
we want more independence to create what the market wants and what we want; we want to have more fun and we want to make a difference.
it would be nice if all our clients listened to everything we said, and it would be even nicer if money wasn't the biggest factor in the decision making process. when money is the biggest factor, it's difficult to make the best decisions with regards environmental, ethical and social issues.
through our consultancy, we are trying to encourage companies to make a start by using environmentally friendly print services and materials. in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, but every little helps!
through developing our own brand, we will be able to use it as a case study to show these companies that it is possible to run an environmentally, ethically and socially sound business, successfuly.
the idea to do something new has been floating around for a number of years, and it has taken a considerable amount of time to research the market and suppliers. we have had a few ups and downs along the way - the brand should have been launched in the Summer 2004, but our son was born 3 months early at the start of the Summer which threw a bit of a spanner in the works to say the least!
it is also for our son that we are doing this, we hope we will have something we can pass on to him, something that has given back as much as it has taken out. |
